Film & Video Transfer
8mm film, VHS tapes, Hi8MP tapes, and more are all susceptible to deterioration over time. Converting them to digital will preserve the memories stored on them for the future. Our services will clean, transfer to a digital format, color correct where possible. With DVD drives and players becoming less and less prevalent and smart TV's becoming more popular, the USB flash drive is becoming the method of saving over DVD or CD-ROM. We still will save your files to either DVD, Blu-Ray or CD-ROM, but serious consideration should be given to the USB flash drive.
8mm & Super 8mm Film Transfer
The transfer of your old 8mm and Super 8mm films to digital is the only sure way to preserve memories that were recorded on film many years ago. The old films will eventually fade and become brittle. On top of that, it is getting harder and harder to find projectors that can be used to view the films.
At Concepts11, we clean all films and repair any damages to the film that is sent to us before we do any transfer. We then convert the film to digital. After conversion, we edit and color correct where possible. If requested, we will remove sections of film that are poor quality and not viewable. We then save the video to either a DVD or MPEG-4 format saved on a USB flash drive.
VHS, VHS-C, & Hi8MP Tapes
Like it is with old films, VHS and other similar tape formats are subject to fade and deterioration over time. In addition, these tape formats are prone to failing with tapes tearing and even refusing to load into a player. And, just like with film, VHS players are becoming harder and harder to find relegating tapes to a box in the closet and the memories stored on them forgotten.
Why not let us preserve those memories for you by converting those tapes to digital. We will convert the films, edit them for content based on your wishes and color correct where possible. After making all the adjustments we will save the video to either MPEG-4 format for saving to a USB flash drive or will create a DVD depending on the length of the video.
